Large Display for 4 Channels
It is possible to display all four channels on the large display with 17.8 cm (7″) diameter and a resolution of 800 × 480 pixel without any problems.
Deeper Memory
The Rigol DS1000Z oscilloscopes can store up to 12 million measurement points. You can zoom into a selected part of the captured waveforms to get more details and scroll within the measurement points. 16 Digital Channels (PLUS Models)

Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes (MSOs) allow users to not only look at the analog behavior of some channels but also trigger, capture, and analyze the behavior of up to 16 digital channels at the same time. Any of the DS1000Z PLUS models can enable the digital channels with the purchase of a RPL1116 digital probe kit. With the RPL1116, the 1000Z Series PLUS models can monitor 2 analog channels with 16 digital channels or 3 analog channels and 8 digital channels.

Create standard waves from the front panel, convert captured waves to emulated signals, or build arbitrary waves in the UltraStation PC Software. The embedded waveform generators included in the „-S” models adds value and capability to the bench for a variety of applications.
Serial Triggering and Analysis Options
Speeds analysis and debug of your I2C, RS232 and SPI designs
Serial Trigger allows the user to trigger the oscilloscope based on a specific pattern or word found in a serial data stream. Serial Decode allows the user to convert the waveform into a decoded readable format which allows for quick determination of problems on a serial bus.
